Tomato Seed Oil

Tomato Seed Oil

Tomato Seed Oil is a light, fast-absorbing cold-pressed carrier oil, pressed from the seeds of ripe tomatoes (Solanum lycopersicum) – genuinely Indian-grown, and recovered from the seeds left over from tomato processing. It's naturally rich in linoleic acid, vitamin E, and the deep-red carotenoid lycopene, giving it a light, antioxidant-rich, nourishing character that skin drinks in without a greasy residue.

What makes it special among carrier oils is its high linoleic-acid content and low comedogenic rating, so unlike heavier oils it genuinely suits oily and acne-prone skin as well as normal, dry, and mature skin. It conditions and softens the skin, adds a healthy-looking glow, and helps hair feel smooth, shiny, and manageable. With its mild, characteristic aroma and non-greasy feel, it blends cleanly into serums, creams, and hair oils. For external cosmetic use – used neat or as a base to dilute essential oils; not for ingestion. Supplied 100 ML to 10 KG, from Raasa Oils.

Tomato Seed Oil Benefits

Skin Nourishment

Tomato Seed Oil absorbs quickly and conditions the skin, helping it feel soft, hydrated, and comfortable without a greasy film. Rich in linoleic acid and vitamin E, it suits most skin types – including dry and mature skin – while its light, low-comedogenic texture makes it a lovely everyday facial and body oil that won't feel heavy or clog pores.

Antioxidant-Rich

Tomato Seed Oil is naturally rich in lycopene, vitamin E, and other antioxidants – the compounds that give it its characterful, deep composition. That antioxidant-rich, conditioning character makes it a premium, nourishing oil for skincare, helping skin feel soft and supple and softening the look of fine lines with regular cosmetic use. (Cosmetic ingredient – makes no therapeutic claims.)

Great for Oily Skin

Because it's high in linoleic acid and low on the comedogenic scale (~2), Tomato Seed Oil is one of the few facial oils that genuinely suits oily and acne-prone skin. It conditions and balances without heaviness or a greasy shine – a lightweight, non-pore-clogging oil that helps oily and combination skin feel soft, fresh, and comfortable.

Conditioning Shine

Tomato Seed Oil conditions hair with its fatty acids and antioxidants, helping tame frizz, soften dryness, and boost natural shine. Its light texture sinks in without weighing hair down, leaving strands smoother, glossier, and more manageable and helping reduce the look of breakage – a lightweight conditioning oil for hair oils, serums, and masks.
