Raspberry Fragrance Oil

Raspberry Fragrance Oil

Raspberry Fragrance Oil is a bright, juicy, tart-sweet raspberry scent in a skin-safe, IFRA-compliant fragrance oil. It helps to be clear what it is: there is no raspberry essential oil. Raspberry fruit holds only a trace of its own aroma compound, a few milligrams per kilo, so every raspberry note in perfumery is a skilfully compounded blend rather than an extract.

That is this product's strength: it captures ripe raspberry vividly and reproduces it batch after batch. Ours is blended for fresh, jammy fruit with a tart edge and a soft, sweet finish, with good throw and staying power. It performs in candles, soap, perfume and cosmetics within IFRA limits, and layers with vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, lemon and musk. This is a fragrance, not raspberry seed oil. At Raasa Oils we blend it to a consistent standard, supplied with IFRA, COA, MSDS and TDS documentation, from 100 ml to 10 kg bulk.

Raspberry Fragrance Oil Benefits

Bright Raspberry Scent

Raspberry Fragrance Oil is blended for a bright, juicy raspberry aroma: fresh and jammy on top, with a tart edge and a soft, sweet, faintly powdery finish. It smells ripe and true to life rather than flat or boiled-sweet, which is what makes it a favourite in cheerful, fruity ranges that customers reach for again.

Strong Scent Throw

A fragrance oil earns its place by how well you can actually smell it, and this one performs. It carries a strong, even scent throw, noticeable cold in the jar and filling a room once a candle is lit. In soaps and melts it comes through clearly too, giving finished products an unmistakable ripe-raspberry character customers notice immediately.

Long-Lasting Scent

This raspberry fragrance is blended to hold. Bright fruit notes are naturally light and can fade quickly, so ours is built on heavier, longer-lasting materials that anchor the top note. The aroma stays true through cure, storage and use, so candles, soaps and perfumes keep smelling as intended rather than thinning out within weeks.

Versatile

Raspberry is a versatile building block. It layers naturally with vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, lemon, jasmine and musk, letting you build anything from bright, fresh fruit accords to rich, gourmand desserts. On its own, it is complete and cheerful; combined, it adds a juicy, tart lift that brightens a heavy blend and keeps a sweet one from cloying.

Raspberry Fragrance Oil Uses

Candle Making

Raspberry Fragrance Oil is a natural fit for candles and wax melts, where its strong, even throw really shows. Add it at the IFRA-compliant level for your wax, and it scents both cold in the jar and hot once lit. Its bright, fruity character suits everyday ranges, seasonal collections and gift candles, batch after batch.

Soap Making

Blended into cold-process or melt-and-pour soap, bath bombs and body washes at IFRA-compliant levels, Raspberry Fragrance Oil gives bars and washes a juicy, ripe fruit scent that survives the wash. Confirm the maximum use level for rinse-off products, check the vanillin content if discolouration matters to you, and always test a small batch first.

Perfume Making

In perfumery and body products, Raspberry Fragrance Oil works as a bright, tart fruit note in roll-ons, body mists, solid perfumes and layering blends, used within the IFRA limit for skin. It pairs beautifully with vanilla, musk and chocolate to build gourmand accords. Patch-test finished products, and keep to the recommended leave-on usage level.

Cosmetic Products

Raspberry Fragrance Oil suits cosmetics and home products too, from lotions and body scrubs to reed diffusers, room sprays and lightly scented cleaners, each within its own IFRA limit. Leave-on skin products carry a much lower limit than candles or cleaners, so check the certificate for each format before you set your fragrance load.

Frequently Asked Questions

No, Raspberry fruit contains only a few milligrams of its characteristic aroma compound per kilogram, so extracting it commercially is not viable. Every raspberry note in perfumery is therefore a compounded blend of aromatic materials. Raspberry Fragrance Oil is a skilfully blended fragrance oil, not a natural or "100% natural" essential oil.

No, and this is worth knowing before you order. Raspberry seed oil is a cold-pressed carrier oil from the seeds, used in skincare for its fatty acids. This is a fragrance oil: it is made to scent your products and has no moisturising or skincare function. If you want the carrier oil, you want a different product.

Yes, within its IFRA limits. As a fragrance oil, it must be used at or below the IFRA maximum for your product type, which is much lower for leave-on skin products such as lotions (Category 5A) than for rinse-off soap (Category 9) or candles (Category 12). Lip products (Category 1) are stricter still. See the usage table above, and patch-test a finished product first.

No, it is a fragrance additive for scent only. Therapeutic and aromatherapy benefits are associated with essential oils, not fragrance oils, so this product is not intended to lift mood, relieve stress, aid relaxation or provide any health benefit. Enjoy it for the bright, juicy raspberry aroma it brings to your products.

Candles, wax melts, cold-process and melt-and-pour soap, bath bombs and body washes, roll-on perfumes and body mists, lotions and scrubs, and home fragrance such as reed diffusers and room sprays. Use it within the IFRA limit for each product type. It is not a food flavouring and must not be eaten.
