Lime Liquid Extract

The fresh citrus character reads as clean on hair, and it works alongside the botanical extracts your customers already recognise on an ingredient list. Add it cold at the end of the batch, after the surfactants.

Body washes, scrubs, lotions and bath products all carry lime well. Use the water-soluble version in the water phase and the oil-soluble in the oil phase, and both give a bright citrus character without needing an emulsifier to hold a fragrance oil in place. Use rates stay the same across both.
