Guava Fragrance Oil

Guava Fragrance Oil

Guava Fragrance Oil is a sweet, juicy, tropical guava scent in an IFRA-compliant fragrance oil. It helps to be clear what it is: there is no commercial guava fruit essential oil. The fruit's aroma is delicate and does not survive distillation at any usable yield, so every guava note in perfumery is a compounded blend of aromatic materials, not an extract.

That is this product's strength: it captures ripe guava vividly and reproduces it batch after batch. Ours is blended as a bright fruity top note – sweet, tropical and softly ripe – with good throw and staying power. It performs in candles, soap, perfume, cosmetics and cleaning products within IFRA limits, and layers with citrus, vanilla and floral fragrance oils. This is a fragrance, not guava seed oil. At Raasa Oils, we blend it to a consistent standard, supplied with IFRA, COA, MSDS and TDS documentation, from 100 ml to 10 kg bulk.

Guava Fragrance Oil Benefits

Tropical Guava Scent

Guava Fragrance Oil is blended for the smell of ripe guava: sweet and juicy on top, tropical through the middle, with a soft, mellow, faintly floral ripeness underneath. It reads as real fruit rather than generic sugar-sweetness, which is what makes it stand out in a fruity range a customer will come back for.

Fresh Note

The top note is what reaches you first, in the second before you have worked out what you are smelling, and guava does that job beautifully. It arrives fresh and fruity rather than sugary, cutting through heavier sweet bases and keeping rich blends from feeling thick. It is the part of a scent people describe as clean.

Noticeable Fragrance

This is a fragrance you smell before you go looking for it. Lit in a candle, misted from a room spray or drawn up a reed diffuser, ripe guava carries across a room instead of hovering over the jar. Cold in the tin it is already there, sweet and unmistakable, the moment the lid lifts.

Long Lasting

Bright fruit notes are naturally light and often thin out within the hour, so this one is anchored on heavier materials that hold it in place. The guava is still there at the end of an evening, softer and rounder than it started but recognisably the same fruit, in candles, soap and body mists alike.

Guava Fragrance Oil Uses

Candle Making

Guava Fragrance Oil is a natural fit for candles and wax melts, where its throw shows best. Add it at the IFRA-compliant level for your format, and it scents both cold in the jar and hot once lit. It works in soy, paraffin and blended waxes, suiting everyday ranges, summer collections and gift candles.

Perfume Making

Blended into cold-process or melt-and-pour soap, bath bombs and body washes at IFRA-compliant levels, Guava Fragrance Oil gives bars and washes a bright tropical scent that survives the wash. Confirm the maximum use level for rinse-off products.

Candle Making

In perfumery and body products, Guava Fragrance Oil serves as a fresh fruity top note in body mists, roll-ons, colognes and layering blends, used within the IFRA limit for skin. It pairs naturally with citrus, vanilla and white florals to build tropical accords. Patch-test finished products, and keep to the recommended leave-on usage level.

Cleaning Products

Guava Fragrance Oil suits household and home fragrance formats too, from detergents, surface cleaners and air fresheners to reed diffusers and room sprays, each within its own IFRA limit. Its fruity character reads as clean and covers base odours in cleaning formulations well. Household categories carry different limits from skin products, so check the certificate per format.

Frequently Asked Questions

It is synthetic — a compounded blend of aromatic materials, made to smell like ripe guava. There is no commercial guava fruit essential oil, because the fruit's aroma is too delicate and too low-yielding to distil, so every guava note in perfumery is blended rather than extracted. That is normal for tropical fruit fragrances, and it is what makes the scent consistent.

No, we sell three guava products, and they do three different jobs. Guava Fragrance Oil, this page, is a compounded fragrance that scents what you make. Guava Seed Oil is a cold-pressed carrier oil from the seeds, used in skincare for its fatty acids. Guava Liquid Extract is a liquid extract used as an ingredient in cosmetic formulations. Only this one is a fragrance, and it has no moisturising or skincare function. If you need a skincare ingredient rather than a scent, order one of the other two.

Yes, within its IFRA limits, which is the part a simple "yes" leaves out. As a fragrance oil, it must be used at or below the IFRA maximum for your product type

No, it is a fragrance additive for scent only. Therapeutic and aromatherapy claims belong to essential oils, not to compounded fragrance oils, so this product is not intended to lift mood, relieve stress, aid concentration or provide any health benefit. Enjoy it for the sweet tropical aroma it brings to what you make.
