Cucumber Fragrance Oil

Add it to melted wax at your usual load, within the IFRA limit for candles, and leave it to set.

In cold-process and melt-and-pour soap, body wash and bath products, cucumber fragrance oil adds a fresh, green, watery scent that suits a clean, spa-style bar. It stands up to the soap-making process, holds its scent in the finished product, and pairs well with aloe, mint and citrus. Dose it within the IFRA limit for the product type.

For reed and electric diffusers, room and linen sprays and potpourri, cucumber fragrance oil brings a light, fresh, green scent that keeps a space smelling clean without turning heavy. In an alcohol- or oil-based spray it disperses well and lasts; for a water-based diffuser or spray it needs a solubiliser, since a fragrance oil does not simply mix into water.

Cucumber fragrance oil is used as the scent in lotions, creams, mists and body products, giving them a fresh cucumber character. It is a fragrance, not an active – it adds scent, not any skin benefit – and must be used within the IFRA maximum for each product type, with its allergens declared on your label. Keep it out of eye products.
